The Redlands Police Department Traffic Unit will conduct a DUI/drivers license checkpoint from 10 p.m. Friday, May 11, through 3 a.m. Saturday, May 12, in the northbound lanes of Sixth Street, between Stuart and Pearl avenues, Redlands spokesman Carl Baker said.

Officers will check for proper licensing and look for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment. Thos caught driving impaired can expect jail, license suspension, insurance increases, fines, fees and DUI class expenses that can exceed $10,000.

A grant-funded targeted DUI saturation patrol on May 5 resulted in one arrest for driving under the influence, one arrest for possession of narcotics and one for outstanding warrants, Baker said. Three people were cited for using their cell phones while driving and a fourth was cited for driving on a suspended license, he said.

Make sure "InPrivate Filtering data" is checked.

Click the "Delete" button.

Click the "OK" button to exit the Internet Options window.

Refresh the page.
