The original Sugababes line-up

WARNING: confusing story ahead. The original line-up of the Sugababes have reunited - though they can't be called the Sugababes, as the new Sugababes are still called The Sugababes. Still with us? Good good.

So Siobhan Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan, who all left the original Sugababes one by one, have formed a new band, which is yet to be named. Mainly because Heidi Range, Amelle Berebah and Jade Ewan - who all replaced the girls - are now the new Sugababes, so the name's already taken.

The girls were originally rumoured to be reforming back in 2009, when Keisha - the last original member - left the Sugababes, but apparently it was felt that the time wasn't right.

But according to popjustice.com , the girls decided to get back together after meeting up last year and are in talks with three record labels.

Shall we remind ourselves just how amazing the original Sugababes were with a little Top of the Pops performance of Round Round? YES, LET'S.

It was really very good wasn't it? Exciting...

Heidi Range, who is about to star in Dancing on Ice, recently said that the Sugababes are not splitting up, but are not working on new material at the moment.

One thing we didn't know when we came in this morning is that we would write the word Sugababes quite so often today.
