CBRE is Over The Rainbow with âGreenâ Purchase
CBRE, the worldâs largest property adviser, is over the rainbow following its latest acquisition. The company has purchased five shades of green as part of the Own A Colour campaign established for leading childrenâs charity UNICEF, of which CBRE is a committed supporter.
Own A Colour is selling 16.7 million colours of the rainbow, the average number a smartphone, tablet or computer can display, to raise money to transform the lives of some of the worldâs poorest children. UNICEF Ambassadors and advocates such as Roger Moore, Jemima Khan, rugby player Matt Dawson and Frankie Sandford from the Saturdays have all already lent their support to the campaign.
In 2011, CBRE partnered with UNICEF to support its âClimate Positiveâ programme in Madagascar, one of poorest countries in the world. The programme aims to mitigate the devastating effects of climate change on children in developing countries. Since then, CBRE has funded the construction of five new cyclone-proof schools, transforming the lives of thousands of children in the country.
