The New Products, Media and Platforms (NPMP) group is the link between Product and Sales at Google. NPMP helps take product innovations and turns them into client solutions that enable our customers to get the most out of their spend with Google. NPMP team members ensure we have the right commercial strategy for our products and bring product expertise to Sales, enabling front-line Sales partners to sell effectively and quickly. The role: Strategic Partner Lead, DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP)
As a Strategic Partnership Lead (SPL), you will help sustain and grow Google's relationships with our most strategic publisher partners around our industry-leading ads monetization product suite. You will be responsible for revenue, and product adoption for AdSense (AFC) and Ad Exchange and as well as other monetization products with the goal of growing Google's share of wallet with those clients. You will also be responsible for growing platform share of Wallet. To do so, you will work within a pod of other sales professionals to cross-sell and up-sell partners on the full suite of publisher products Google can offer.
Responsibilities:
Develop world class sales team, manage pipelines, liase with cross functional teams representing regional needs.
Sign on new monetization and platform relationships with publishers from the NPL; Optimize and increase usage of monetization solutions and share of wallet of platform solutions.
Develop implementation recommendation, negotiate term sheet, manage internal approvals process, contract negotiations and compliance processes.
Manage the relationship development and pitch benefits and features of AdSense and Ad Exchange, including competitive positioning. 7. Attain and maintain senior level relationships with Latin America’s most important publishers.
Conduct partner needs assessment; evaluate Google strategic-fit assessment (i.e. Direct vs Online, exclusive vs non-exclusive, Marketplace Intelligence assessment of inventory value, etc).
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS. In lieu of degree, 5 years of work experience in relevant field.
4 years of work experience, including 2 years of related sales or business development experience in an Internet company.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or advanced professional degree.
Broad understanding of the online advertising (i.e. ad serving, networks and key platforms and trends (i.e. desktop, mobile, video).
Demonstrated sales productivity and the ability to negotiate contracts, interpret legal documents, and work with attorneys to complete agreements.
Demonstrated partner relationship and business development skills.
Comfortable with team-based selling approach.
Self-motivated individual that is comfortable operating in a rapidly changing and largely undefined industry.
